When it comes to must have kitchen essentials, they have to make things easy for me in the kitchen. Being busy, I don’t have much time to cook, so I like things that are going to save me time in the kitchen.

Strainers

Kitchen Gizmo Snap ‘N Strain

This simple silicone strainer snaps onto the pot and allows you to strain foods. It’s perfect because you don’t burn yourself trying to hold something on the edge of the pot as the clips do that for you. Since it is silicone, it’ll clean easily. Plus, it’s under $10. That’s a winner for me.

Chopper

Meat chopper

I use my chopper on all sorts of things. Hamburger, sausage, ground turkey/chicken, and even potatoes. It’s one of those things that I grab and use. This chopper does a much better job and breaking up ground meats than just using a spoon or spatula. The cost is under $6.

Aprons and Towels

Adult Aprons

I love these personalized aprons! I have several from this seller. You can have anything on the apron that you like, and they even have others for Christmas, Father’s Day, and even for children.

Aprons generally retail for about $25.

If you like the apron, check out a few more of their Kitchen and Home Goods.

Pot Holders

Martha Thurston

I am a southern girl born and raised in South Carolina. I grew up knowing I wanted to become a writer. When I'm not teaching middle school ELA, I'm either writing for my blogs or writing books.

For the most part, I'm usually sweet, always sassy with a side of sarcasm, and definitely Southern.
